Majestic Faux Finishes evolved 7 years ago from an inspiration of Donna Keen, owner, out of desperation to enhance the walls of the 80 year old home she purchased. Donna was watching a program on television that was featuring rag rolling. She did not even know at that time what rag rolling was. Donna decided she could do that, so she set out to understand the art of faux painting and fell in love with the art.

Donna had always been an artist but never really focused on one area of art until she found faux painting. After finishing the walls in the 80 year old home she thought she should take a class in decorative painting and just see what she could do with it and Majestic Faux Finishes was born.
